Dr. Randall Lee Steffens, DO, CMD, MRO, BCEM
Founder and President of White Memorial Missionary College.
The birth of WMMC began as an outgrowth of the experience Dr. Steffens and his wife Linda had with homeschooling their four children. After seeing the success their oldest child had with distance college at home, it was felt that other youth should be able to enjoy the same experience, making it even better within the context of a solidly Seventh-day Adventist curriculum.
In addition to managing the affairs of WMMC, Dr. Steffens spends his time as the medical director of the Emergency Department and Chief of Staff of Smith County Memorial Hospital in Carthage, TN. Dr. Steffens has twice received the Medical Director of the Year award from his contract company; Emergency Coverage Corporation of Knoxville, TN. And his Emergency Department has been the highest rated in patient satisfaction within his hospital's parent company; Life Point Hospital Corporation's 50 hospitals. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine, Geriatrics and Family Practice.
