Lynn went to high school in Bermuda and then attended Southern Missionary College in Tennessee, graduating in 1973 with a B.S. in nursing. She practiced and taught in the field of emergency nursing for 7 years. In 1981 she graduated from Loma Linda University with a Masters in Public Health. This was followed with more emergency nursing for a total of 16 years. When her children began school she changed fields and became Manager of Health and Wellness at McKee Foods, a position she held for 10 years.
In 1997, following a deep personal spiritual experience with Jesus, she left McKee Foods, took a Bible Training course in South Dakota, and then accepted a position at that same school teaching health and a course on how to write and give Bible studies. Presently she has just completed almost 5 years of mission service in India
