Dr. Daniel A. Amfo, BA, MA, M.ED, PH.D

Dr. Daniel Amfo was born and raised in Ghana. He has over 23 years experience as a Teacher, School Administrator, Pastor and Colporteur. He received his ministerial and teacher training from the following Universities and Seminaries:

  • BA Religion/Business Administration, Andrews University, Michigan. (1983)
  • MA. SDA Theological Seminary, Andrews University, Michigan (1986)
  • MA. Education, California State University, San Bernardino, California (1997)
  • Graduate Studies: School leadership, University of Huston, Victoria, Texas 1998-1999)
  • PhD Education - Empresarial University of Costa Rico, Costa Rico (1999)

He holds certification from the State University of New York-Department of Education, Division of Public School Teacher Licensure. Endorsement: School District Administrator License (SDA-Permanent) and a denominational teacher license (Professional

He has coordinated in establishing some churches in the United States such as All nations SDA Church in San Bernardino, Ca; First African SDA Church in Houston, TX; Greater Hartford Ghanaian SDA Church, CT. Dr Amfo helped in the planning and forming of the Philadelphia Ghanaian SDA Church, PA. He is a member of the SDA Church and accepts the teachings and beliefs of the church, the Spirit of Prophecy and the Scripture as the inspired Word of God. He enjoys teaching Sabbath school and evangelism. Dr Amfo has received numerous awards and is listed in Who is Who Among American Teachers.

Dr Amfo has spent the past decade speaking regularly at schools and churches, conducting workshops aimed at strengthening families, youth, teachers, married couples in Ghana and the United States. He is the author of two Unpublished books: Discipline: An Interpersonal Approach for Elementary School Teachers in Ghana, 1997 and " The Life of Pastor John Kenneth Amoah and his Contributions to Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ghana (1915-1975), June, 1986

Dr Amfo has experience in Planning, Development, and Organizational Skills. He also, has knowledge and experience in distance education, educational programs, planning, conducting regular cost/benefit analyses of school activities and recommending budget improvement measures where appropriate. Dr Amfo has also coordinated accreditation process and overseeing compliance with guidelines, procedures, and the implementation of accreditation guidelines, departmental reviews and compliance with federal and state employment laws. Reviewing student course completions and assuring that diplomas are properly awarded. He enjoys reading, traveling, camping, and Bible study .
