Dr. Conrad Reichert earned the BA degree in Mathematics, and the MA degree in Educational Administration at Andrews University. He earned the Ph.D. degree in Psychology at Cornell University. He began his professional career as an electrical engineer working on communication systems in earthquake-prone areas of the U.S., and participated in the development of bombproof communication systems for two aircraft carriers. He subsequently enrolled in the teacher training program at Andrews University and taught in church schools in the Ohio Conference, at Union Springs Academy, and at Andrews University. At Andrews University he was Professor of Educational and Counseling Psychology, and Coordinator of Graduate Programs in that area. He was president of the Andrews University Alumni Association, a member of the Andrews University Board of Trustees, and a member of the Executive Board of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary.
He was Professor of Psychology on the faculty of Walden University, a distance-education university offering fully accredited doctoral degrees. He was president of the Western Michigan Psychological Association; Chairperson of the Psychology Section of the Michigan Academy of Science, Arts, and Letters; Vice President for Research, Hewitt Research Foundation; President, Institute for Family and Community Studies; Consultant in Forensic Psychology, Medical Center, Veterans Administration Hospital, Battle Creek, Michigan; Consultant in Neuropsychology, Rainbow Tree Centers, Michigan; Consultant, NAACP Legal Defense Fund; and Member, Board of Directors, Michigan Maritime Museum.

He is a licensed psychologist and holds diplomates in Medical Psychology, Forensic Psychology, and Forensic Neuropsychology. He holds the Certificate of Professional Qualification in Psychology awarded by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards, the governing board over the 50 state psychology boards in the U.S. and the provincial psychology boards in Canada. He has held admission and treatment privileges in the three hospitals in the geographical area of his practice.
He raised over a million dollars for research in personality and family intervention programs; conducted numerous seminars, conferences, and workshops in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean regarding personality enrichment for children and adults, and for family and marital enrichment; and appeared on numerous radio and television programs regarding child development and family relationships. He appeared frequently on WKZO-TV representing and promoting the professional psychology community in Michigan.
Conrad and Joyce have been married 47 years and continue to raise their four children and nine grandchildren.
