Cheri Durst, BS, LRT/RRT, AE-C Director of Clinical Education

Cheri Durst, BS, LRT/RRT, AE-C is a Registered Respiratory Therapist who recieved her degrees from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. She is currently working as a Certified Asthma Educator for the Asthma Network of West Michigan and as a member of the faculty in Ferris State University's Respiratory Therapy Program. She is well experienced with many aspects of Respiratory Care including acute care, intensive care, long term care, pulmonary rehabilitation and asthma education. She has been instrumental in developing and implementing the Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Asthma Education programs at United Memorial Hospital in Greenville, Michigan where she continues to facilitate a monthly Better Breather's Club.She is also a certified smoking cessation and stress management facilitator as well as on the faculty team for Michigan Society for Respiratory Care's Asthma Information Review course.

Cheri is an ordained elder in the Seventh-day Adventist church and has served her local church in the capacity of Administrative Elder, Sabbath School Superindendent and Adult Sabbath School teacher. She has been, and continues to be very involved in evangelism and church planting efforts in Michigan. She and her husband, Doug, live in the country where they enjoy "playing" with their horses and trail riding. They have raised two beautiful young ladies who have a heart for serving and following Jesus.
